To complete my Hazet 2500T toolboard, I've been looking for a Hazet 2560 Wrench (27x36mm)
But in all my years of searching/collecting I only came across the earlier 560 number.
So my question is: Does the 2560 (small "a" Hazet) even exist? or have they always used the 560-version?
Please send pics or other proof
Regards,
Cor |

Hi Cor,
Comparing with some other tools...
The 527 puel pump wrench from the round Hazet tool box is called 2527 from the 1958 catalogue, while in reality it is still the 527 marked tool that's being supplied with the boxes. In 1960, 2-3 years later, you find the first actual '2527' marked fuel pump wrenches.
I'm guessing the 5xx tools change their names to 25xx in 1957/58, based on the 561 / 2561 21/36 tool from the round Hazet tool box.
So while the names change in the catalogues from 1957/58, the actual tools sometimes change their names a little later...
That doesn't really answer your question, but maybe somehow useful anyway?...

This mine. I am trying to remember when I purchased it, thinking some time in the 1980s.
