Hi porsche enthusiasts. I'm looking for something to replace the plain orange cap on my beetle's (hella aftermarket) rear fog light switch, and searching through the net I came up with porsche part #9116132340201C (fog lamp switch insert used in '80s 911s and later 964s).
The general shape of the item looks promising, however, I'm not likely to buy one without being sure it will, or at least could be made to, fit.
Given the fog light switch is the same as the heated rear screen switch, could please someone who has any of such switches take me a couple of measures on the cap/insert itself?
I'm particularly interested in the overall diameter and depth of the stepped part that gets inside the rubber switch.
Thank you in advance to anyone who will be willing to help. _________________ cars:

well, I guess I'll have to find another way to measure that cap... _________________ cars:
