Hey guys. There are a few parts that I am not coming up with a source for, and was wondering if anyone had a lead on these state side, or a usable substitute? I am just trying to wrap up a few loose ends while Crunchie is at the body shop. I am looking for new parts, not used. Thanks in advance!
Rear window vent gasket - 255 819 447 (2 times)
Large power steering reservoir o-ring/seal - 431 422 383 A
Rear plate mount bump stops - N 902 393 01 (2 times)
Rear hatch VW symbol and script emblem - 251 853 685 A
Rear hatch lock seal - 251 829 233 |

Since the parts you want are known NLA parts you will probably have to get them from wherever you can find them.
VWheritage in the UK shows the rear lock seal and hatch script in stock
VWclassic shows the vent seals
A google search shows the reservoir o ring available from several different sellers in the US so maybe it isn't NLA? |

I knew I could source most of it from over seas, I was just trying to avoid paying out the nose for shipping, since most times it has to be shipped twice before getting here. I have done it a few times and it can add up fast. It's not a huge priority right now, I was just hoping someone might have a source state side I'll make it happen eventually.
I will double check on the O-ring, I know a lot of vendors like ECS order there stuff from a VW dealer and then re-sell it. Even they show it available to order, they turn around and tell you it is NLA shortly there after. Thanks for the heads up!

I appreciate that! I have a bunch of family in England and Ireland who are always willing to help out. I also have a friend in Austria should the need arise lol. |
