June 28th 2015, replaced Master cylinder and bled all the brake lines. also engine decided not to start, seemed like it was not getting fuel, so we replaced fuel filter, and fuel pump roughly $35, turned out when Heather tightened up the throttle cable she accidentally turned the choke adjuster screw all out of whack.

I filled all the hollow areas with foam, didn't get as much done as I had hoped this weekend.

Well, I cut the carpet and started fitting that in the back. I also decided to stain the panels, I think it should look really nice when I get it back together!

I like your bus. It's presentable, yet not so perfect that you can't really enjoy it. I'd like to have one just like it. The sound deadening is going to be nice but what is the purpose of the foam in the holes?

http://www.type2.com/library/heat/intrir1.html

Read it there, just fills in all the hollow areas, kills the sound rattles and vibrations. every little bit helps. figured I would do what I can while it is all apart

Well, I started getting the stained panels back in the bus. I think that they turned out excellent! Smile really happy with how it is looking. with the sound deadening, insulation, and the panel back on the rear hatch door, it sounds so satisfying hearing it close Smile

Bus looks great! That sound deadening will make a huge difference. I probably only have done half of what you did and it's 50% quieter. Now get some good speakers in there Twisted Evil

What kind of foam did you use though? Unless it's closed cell that'll trap moisture inside all those cavities... Even if it is closed cell, spray foam on metal makes me nervous.

Looks great. Before you button it all up, I would be a little concerned about that spillguard product you have installed (visible in the rear seat and wheel well area in the above picture) holding moisture.

The product was designed to place under area rugs to protect the rug and the underlying hardwood floor. It is designed to retain moisture which is exactly what you do not want in this application. Easier to fix it now than later.

Make sure you leave any of the original lower weep holes open for moisture to drain out. Foam is not your friend in those areas.

Well, I didn't quite get the other projects finished, but decided to start another Smile I wanted to take the dash apart to clean it really good and give it a couple coats of vinyl paint. a lot of the bolts along the windshield base were rusted in place and had to drill them out, but otherwise it went fairly smooth.
