|
|
Looking to run the CSP Throttle linkage with a Set of Dellorto DRLA's on a 2+Liter Engine...
So, looking for notes on it and if the CSP is just a Straight Bolt on Set-Up just that I have been hearing about.
So, looking for some people who run it and what they think on how it performs and if it is worth the cost? I have heard good things from a few people, but think it will be a good thread covering it for there in not much info here currently in the samba archives.
Thanks for ya'll time... RB _________________
"HELP, I ported my own heads and now have fire coming out my ass" .
Yes it works, and I am using the linkage with a set of DRLA 45s. I am using CB manifold and the linkages just touches the bottom of the fresh air snorkel on the right side. I ended putting a slight bent in the rod and adjusting linkage on the left. Also, I used the version of the linkage that includes the return spring. |

Got a CSP linkage on my 2110 operating 48 IDF's. It's lovely! Nice and smooth operation and is really easy to set up. Sod hex bar or Berg linkages! Worth every penny |

I am also running CSP bellcrank linkage and like it a lot. I had it on my 1915 with 36 DRLAs and now my 2276 with 45 DRLAs. I did file the bolt hole ever so slightly to move the bellcrank toward the rear of the car a bit. I have run the ball sockets on the carb linkage arms both pointing forward and pointing toward the rear of the car. Pointing forward provided clearance for a large distributor like a CB magnaspark.
Would buy again and would recommend to a friend. _________________ 1957 Oval rag

I got mine directly from CSP at a Bug-IN a few years ago. Pierside Parts had the linkage and spring last time I stopped by.

another CSP user with 45 DRLAs. smooth as silk and set up is super easy. only needed to touch it once in 7000 miles, linkage "broke in" causing it to idle about 100 rpms too high. _________________ 67 bug x3
