So I was on a hike in the interior of B.C., a bit of a hippie area. Down near the beginning of the trail there was a Pressed Front Bumper, dove blue and white, further along was the buried rear corner of the bus.

So my question is, should I grab this bumper? It is far from straight, very dinged, but not bent in half or anything like that. I don't need it but I thought someone else might be all over it.

Grab it! Someone will be happy to trade something you need for it.

Yes and take pics of the finds and get the entire corner too... because it's there.

Let me reword it for you so it makes more sense

So my question is, should I grab this money? It is far from clean, very wrinkled, but not ripped in half or anything like that.

Very Happy

I am wiping my monitor off right now.

Okay then, I am going back there tomorrow with my trailer and my camera.

Just needed a push in the right direction, thanks.

We should have a samba archeological dig sticky, with hints for uncovering old finds and such.

Holy cow. That is amazing. I am going to have to reconsider some of the items I have sent to the scrap pile recently.

Okay, I went back to get the bumper and the one corner I found. It was too dark in there for good pics and the mosquitos were beginning to feast on us, so we grabbed what we could.
Upon digging a bit we found the other rear corner. Once I removed that...there was the rear torsion housing and right side frame rail. A little digging revealed that the whole frame is there, but it is 8 feet from the trail and 6 feet under the trail, with no way of knowing how much of it is there. So, to me the frame is too much work. Anyone who want to take it on can PM me and I will give the exact location to you.

Here is what I came away with.

The poor turkis is not the real colour. On the inside and underneath the primer is a dove blue.
