When i purchased my car last summer, the last/only owner of the car said to me that the back right side door wouldn't open from the outside and i would need to look at getting it fixed in order for it to work. I just finished following the manual and taking the lock and door handle off and i found that the internals in the door handle are broken...... and also the same problem for the right front handle.... I'm in canada and i checked on Cip1.com and on eBay and couldn't find all that much. I'm looking for a website where i could possibly buy all 4 handles, any trusted websites that you've used before and would recommend?
Thanks Trevor |

You could try Hans Auto Parts, http://www.hansautoparts.com/
I bought several BUT be warned these are Chinese made so check where the parts mesh as they pivot up as I had at least one that was too short so it bound up and didn't open the door.
They aren't too costly though.
I hope that helps!

Be sure to lubricate the latch assemblies, stiff/binding internals will cause the handles to break. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.
