CAR SHOW // DRAG RACES // VENDOR ALLEY // SWAP MEET

The Bugorama in Sacramento is like no other VW event in the World. We open the gates on Saturday at 2:00 pm to allow for overnight camping, swap meet set up and test & tune for the drag racers. Sunday is the main day for the Bugorama. This is when we have the car show, finals in drag racing, vendors and all the swap meet will be set up. The admission price is for both days only.

Come enter your VW in the Bugorama Car Show! We are offering several awards for all types of VW’s. No pre-registration is necessary to enter. Just show up and register your vehicle in the car show. The Car Show awards will be hand picked by our Bugorama staff. Rather than 1st through 3rd awards, we are giving out numerous "Best Of" class awards.

The Bugorama offers race classes for all types of cars and drivers from the novice to the pro. All cars must pass a NHRA safety inspection and or a BRS tech inspection at the scales to qualify to race. For a list of classes log on to www.bugoramaracingseries.com


Swap Meet spaces are 20' X 20' and include 1 admission and 1 vehicle pass. Please only USED VW related items only. No pre-registration needed. No new merchandise parts vendors in the swap meet.

So, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but I can't find any info elsewhere.

I understand that campfires are not allowed while camping but what about a charcoal grill?

My brother and I are planning on camping and I am trying to plan what to bring.
