I just got my 1st '73 thing. I'm needing a new top/frame, and front fenders. Any suggestions? Are fiberglass front fenders good?

I believe there are a couple of options for glass fiber fenders. I have no personal experience as to who makes a quality product. They will make the front-to-rear weight ratio more pronounced if that's a concern for you.

Never thought about that....want to build it as a daily driver.....should I be concerned about that? I would rather have good steel fenders, but all I've seen available, is fiberglass.

Welcome!...check the classified ads - OE fenders come up all the time. The Thing Shop has the best top/frame Assy. But it is pricey. If you're not in a big hurry, haunt the ads for that too.

Fiberglass fenders are good, especially if you aren't concerned with OEM OCD. There are good ones, and not so good ones. Some include headlight buckets, some don't. Fenders pop up on the classifieds all the time. Might want to give a hint of your location because shipping can be an issue.
