3M super adhesive spray. Try softening the vinyl with a hair drier first.

That's what I used, "Super 77" is what it says on the can. And hot glue on the edges where it wraps around.

Binder clips work great at holding the vinyl in place while it cures. Use a lot of them.

Weldwood is usually OK if it is the solvent based one - the 'green' one is BAD. A hot glue gun will stick the edges down on the back to keep everything in place.

3m 90!!
Helps to sand off the old glue on substrate first. Spray new glue on both the panel and vinyl let tack and the vinyl should stick.

I would like more info on how Weldwood " isn't working "
Are you gluing BOTH sides and waiting for it to dry BEFORE you put the surfaces together ???

If your fabric or cardboards are tearing it's not the glue

This is the trick.
You can use thinner to strip the old glue as well.
Spray a light even coat. If it is too thick it will not hold.

For those hotter climates.

Good Luck

patience is a must. I used to never wait for the glue to tack up and the fabric always come loose.
