I have an engine that was previously used in an aircraft. It has this engine code UOO19028. What is it? I can't find any information. I think it is a type 3 with dual port heads and maybe a 1600 or 1700. Thanks for any help.

Yes, Type 3, looks like a late calendar year 1968 vintage, probably for the early 1969 model year. Fuel injected originally, dual port 1600.

Also write down the 6 digit code in the bell housing area to date the crankcase to the day it was cast. Tell me what the code is.

Thank you for all the information. Now to get it torn down and see what it needs to get it running again. I have to find a Champion 4316 magneto also. If you come across one let me know. Thanks again!
