How do I remove the 2 interior lights from my BT6 without destroying the headliner? I tried to pull... but did not risk to pull to hard so it would break?
any special method?
Thanks!

Porsche dome lights work exactly like VW dome lights
At either end of the dome light, there are spring-loaded brass "bullet" catches that press outward against the mounting hole in the headliner. Use something flat on either end and insert it between the light and the headliner material. But pry it out carefully, as the 50+ year old clear plastic surround can be fragile. It just snaps out, and snaps back in.

Use some small plastic wedges on either end and be careful. Take your time. These parts are fragile! |

That was a good question and a good clear answer! I got one out 20 years ago by luck I reckon. The other needing a new bulb ( probably 56 years old ) I could not move without damaging it I think. Now, I will try again.
thanks
