Did you possibly pull on the spark plug wires to remove them off the plugs? That can stretch the cables to the point the wires inside pull away from the end socket and then cause spark plug problem. _________________ In Stereo, Where Available! |

Ok an update on this....The bus is now running nice, I rechecked the timing and went back to the beginning and reset the throttle control on the carb and then got it running nice with the volume control and idle speed screws. I had fitted a new coil - a Silver one which is labeled Bosch but says made in Brazil on it...not trusting it i refitted my original Bosch Blue one and it seems to have made a difference. Are the Silver Bosch Brazil made ones known to be junk?? _________________ Blah..... |
