Mid to late 80's I saw a Porsche at the Pomona Swap meet with a set of Fuchs. What caught my eye is that it was running dual tires on all four corners and looked stock from what I remember! Has anyone seen or know anything about a wheel like this?

How wide were each tire? I remember a long while back there was a wheel setup that consisted of dual narrow tires, the benefits were said to be added resistance to hydroplaning and there might have been one or two other gains claimed.

Can't even remember but I'll say maybe close to that of a 135. I want to run something like it but only on the rear.

Here you go- http://articles.latimes.com/1986-03-16/business/fi-26799_1_tires

I remember seeing a Red Mercedes with Gold plated wheels at Lowrider shows in the early 90s.
