Another search for a heb... Anyone out there that know Patrick H Mclain?
Or anyone knows what Heb it was, or know where the heb is now?
Thanks for the effort. _________________ Zelensis, glassfibre body made in Belgium , disigned and built on a VW platform About 25 body's built.

The Autoist is a publication for & by members of the Volkswagen Club of America. They are still very active today. Maybe they have history on their former members and they can help? Here's their web site- http://vwclub.org/ |

$ 1000 for a solid driver Heb.
Why wasn´t my father clever enough to store one of those away back then? _________________ Master of my domain! |

I can't respond about Patrick but it reminds about another 'missing' Hebmuller.
Back in the Aug 1977 VW Trends (attached), Billy Story also write about selling his Hebmuller. Billy was an Army officer stationed in Germany at that time. In late 1978, I was also stationed in Germany and wrote to Billy about his Heb. He wrote back and stated that he had lots of inquiries but decided to keep the car. He added that he was planning to ship the car back to the States the following summer (1979). Not sure if he ever shipped the car back. Years later, I tried to track him down but never heard back from him.
Does anyone know anything about Billy and his Hebmuller?

$1000 in 1964 appears to be around $7700 in today's dollars.
A Google calculator tells me stock market returns on $1000 invested in 1964 through 2013 would be around $100,000... before taxes.
Which is better? _________________ How to Post Photos

Only if you picked the right stocks, Everett.

The 1000 invested in a Heb might equal 100 000 today as well.
Without taxes. _________________ Master of my domain! |
