Quick question, is the rear slider welded to the sunroof cable. I am trying to repair sunroof and the Samba forum really helped!!! However it seems that my cable rear sliders are not attached to the cable. £240 to replace, arghhhhh is there a welding fix ?

The slider that is attached to the cables is not welded, but it is attached. Mine are held fast. You might try Epoxy.

I am looking for a pair of sunroof cables with the attachment piece that are at least 60 inches long. Any help with be appreiciated.

Web, what is the model and year of your bug? Is it a Super, or a standard.
