Hello everyone!
I have a Fastback 1967 stock, but I'm about to repair the engine with the following settings!
AA Performance Pistons 88x69
Cylinder heads Stock with Stainless steel valves 35.5x32mm Polished dual-port heads
Scat Hi-rev lightweight racing lifters
Scat 0.3125" Fixed Steel pushrods
Scat Hi-rev Single Springs with Chromoly Retainers
Engle W100 & straight-cut steel crank & cam gear
Schadek 26mm Oil Pump
Dual Weber IDF 40/40
Tri-Mil Exhaust System 1 3/8 "" Tuck-a-way "
Bosch 009 Electronic ignition
I hope to get good results with these toys ... and then they let you know that get results on the dynamometer |

Sounds like a nice combo. Use the 88 cylinders that machine in to the head side and slip in the case. They are thicker than stock on the head side. I have heard that straight cut gears are hard on the ears and only necessary for huge cams. Have fun. |

This is a circa 5500rpm street motor, yes? Unless you have already spent the money, you do not need the CrMo retainers, steel pushrods and 'racing' lifters
But yes it's always fun building a 'no machine' engine as for many/most people there is less to prepare, less to think about... and less go wrong |
