I have done a search, but everything I find requires a 17 digit VIN, and vehicles pre-1981 are all below that...
Does anyone know of a service that will look up our VIN history to find previous owners etc.?
Any help is appreciated. |

| In the US you need a court order to get DMV to cough up old registrants/owners. A PI might be able to circumvent this, but it isn't cheap. |
