I hope this isn't too vague but I have a 1990 Cabriolet and just the other day everytime i go over a bump or bumps i am hearing a rattling up front. doesn't effect the steering but it just started this rattling that i can't see where it is located when i am looking underneath. would like to take it to a garage but it is just so vague. the car doesn't shake or quiver while driving just the rattle over bumps. thanks

Probably the dreaded frame horn separation!

Just kidding, check to see if the anti rattle clips are on your brake pads.

But definitely get a lower suspension tie bar or stiffener, the frame horns will start to crack & separate at the welds. The suspension tie helps reduce the flexing of these & the chassis overall. Nothing like going over bumps & watching a dashboard shaking independently of the windshield frame.
