| I hope this isn't too vague but I have a 1990 Cabriolet and just the other day everytime i go over a bump or bumps i am hearing a rattling up front. doesn't effect the steering but it just started this rattling that i can't see where it is located when i am looking underneath. would like to take it to a garage but it is just so vague. the car doesn't shake or quiver while driving just the rattle over bumps. thanks |

Probably the dreaded frame horn separation!

Just kidding, check to see if the anti rattle clips are on your brake pads.

But definitely get a lower suspension tie bar or stiffener, the frame horns will start to crack & separate at the welds. The suspension tie helps reduce the flexing of these & the chassis overall. Nothing like going over bumps & watching a dashboard shaking independently of the windshield frame.
