Looking for my Old 1961 Baja Bug, Colorado

I am looking for my old 1961 Baja bug I sold around Denver Colorado in 2004. It was my first VW and the car changed my life. I did not know it at the time I sold it. Also the friend I bought the car from passed away 2 years after I sold it at the age of 24. So the car is sentimental. I am offering a $250 finders fee for any information leading to the car. I've already tried hiring a private detective, which was a waste of money. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The roof mounted oil cooler was not on the car when it was sold.

This is all I have. It is the registry information the PI got. I think they used a number instead of the Actual Vin because there wasn't enough digits.
