Yeah, just about to get back on my car after a 10 year hiatus. I have some rust to figure out now. Where the heck do we find front bumper mount panels? I need to weld in new ones!
I remember a few years back there was a guy who made them in Germany...
Ideas? |

Look up type 3 detectives. They show front and rear panels. I can't figure out how to post the links from my phone. _________________ SEMPER PARATUS!

I think that was Typ3 Konny, but as I recall those were just the pieces that were spot welded to the body with the captured nuts.
Mike Fisher might be able to cut you some repair panels out of a donor if you need more than just those plates.

Is this what you are looking for? This is what type 3 detective has on their site. _________________ SEMPER PARATUS!

Yep, that's the area. That panel is awfully large for what I need. I'm guessing it would be easier just to make the mounts themselves. That way I could galvanize them prior to welding them in.
Any particular tips on improving the drainage so this won't happen again? |
