Looking good! Are you going to do anything with the paint, or leave it like that? _________________

The gas-wire broke so I had to turn in to the side of the road. My friend who drove my 50 beetle stopped behind. I have a Okrasa-kit in, and I think the linkage slowly bent the wire everytime I pressed the gas pedal until it went off..
We stood and tried to fix it when a Tesla drove right in to the beetle so the beetle went in the smoothgate and in to us so we flew 10 meters out on the field beside..
Just luck that we're even alive! The beetle could just have went straight in to us, but luckily it turned around and pushed us away. If you look on the right corner on the single cab. I think it's my body who pressed that in. And since the gates are pushed in on the right, I think it's my fried who went in there... Do I have to say how hard they are???
I've some trouble to walk right now but I am getting better! My friend is still on the hospital but he will get better to! The motivation is like gone after this, just finished the smooth gate on the friday and then this happen on the sunday..
No more vw this year I think _________________ Type 2 -53 smooth Gate SC (o\!/o) Type 1 -50 |o\ /o| Type 2 -55 Barndoor kombi

Wow! Really sorry to hear that but at least you've both survived and will hopefully make full recoveries. I can understand your being demotivated right now; I hope that returns soon. All he best for a speedy recovery. Dave |
