Getting close but still got some questions.

What about the manual choke with dual carbs? Is it eliminated and do I not need the choke?

And the pre heater pipes? Also not needed? Holland can be quite cold also in spring and fall and I want my car to start and run without any problems at any time.

Because of how I was working with old, previously modified parts I do not have operating chokes on my carbs but think that it would be a benefit (but not essential) to have them working.

I have started my car OK here in the winter; on a cold day we get down to 1 or 2 degrees Celsius here in Auckland (although this is infrequent).

I am still 6V but have a good battery (or it was until it was left for 12 months whilst I work on the car). I have considered an Optima battery to crank the engine over more effectively, but they are expensive here (not sure about Europe but they are very competitively priced on Amazon in the USA).

I'm not sure whether there are parts available to do this from Riechert?

A nice choke linkage here:

Hope this helps.

I think 1 or 2 gaswires from a 2 stroke moped/bike could be used for choke, because many of them have a 1:2 box for the wires (original 1 to trottle, one to oil pump).
