So after I get this 36hp beast on the road I am going to find out real quick if I am down with going 55mph top speed.

m liking the stance, 6" wide smooties in back, with what size tires? Fit under wheel well nicely, running stock tranny? With what a nice motified 36 hp motor.........hows the interior?

Nice! Perfect old school VW gasser stance! Put some T-bars or buggy bars on it and maybe some faded sponsor logos and a name on it (sort of like tar babe) and it will look amazing!

Hi Thomas, stock tranny, 205 60 15 tires in back and 145s up front, rebuilt stock 36hp motor, original interior is getting recovered with TMI garbage.
Looks a whole lot faster than it is.

Good talking to ya last night Rick. Did you do an inner or outer click in the rear? Was cool to see the club mentioned in the credits of the new Bug movie too. Forgot to ask if you've been riding your bike out there?

Nice talking to you as well Darel. 1 outer spring plate click in back. We supported the start up for the bug movie. Turned out awesome. Yes, been riding my bike alot. Karlee bought me a new road bike and I was riding with a great group in Hillsborough called the Tarwheelers. Riding tomorrow, it's supposed to be 70 today and tomorrow.
