I got my brand new LED Taillights installed thanks to CHIP! These things are awesome!!! Now I need to swap the flasher relay.
Here is a picture of what I believe is my current flasher...

Two wires piggy back off one connection. Of the three wires one goes into the fuse box, one goes to the steering column/speedo and the third goes back up into the wiring harness and i suppose back to the taillights.

Here is my new flasher that came with the tail lights...

How do I swap these out?

What did you do to get the ep35 to work? I bought one to replace a missing relay in my 64 and I get nothing.

Did you connect 31 up to a good ground?

Try it with your brake lights on just to be sure. I think I tried that one on our buggy and it didnt work right, but we also had to run a "trailer converter" since we only have a single bulb dual element tail lights. Worked fine until you hit the brake lights and then it stopped flashing.

Flasher is easy. Keep the 2 wires together, hook them to the L terminal if looking at the new relay diagram on the packaging. Hook the wire going to the fuse box to the + according to the diagram. Then run a ground wire to the 3rd terminal, I just run it to the bolt holding the brace up behind the speedo. Let me know if that helps
