VWs of that vintage with AC had 90 Amp, but look on the current alternator and match the PN to what you are looking to buy.
Bosch (OE Reman) AL27X - Alternator; 90 Amp or Bosch (OE Reman) AL33X - Alternator; 90 Amp per:
