here's the question for the model.
1. front signal light up
2. big rear tail light
3. supposed to be square bumpers
4. no walk thru and have bench seat with reserve tires below the seat.
any way's im not a purist but we love our rat bus so much and enjoying building and cruisin. VW's still a VW. |

hi guys.
just need some advice. freaking gas consumption. im using solex 34 carb and 1500 stock engine then recently changed the carburetor main jet from 150 to 115 last weekend. gas consumption improved. However, encountered problem with hesitation and idling. i'm assuming the current jet setting supplies insufficient gas. what is your jet setting for your 1500 stock engine set up?
your response will be highly appreciated.
Thanks... |

mabuhay kabaBayan. Looks like your bus is a 1973 model. The blade bumpers may have been installed by the previous owner. Or it is a 1972 bus and the signal lights below may have been shaved in lieu of the signal lights grafted on both ends of the fresh air vents. Looking on the pictures it seems like the signal lights were merely grafted. Although your queries will be answered by looking into the VIN number. It may be a 1971 though, the rear air vents tells us so... pretty confusing.... _________________ '67 KG Cabrio (Mickey) ;
