I have a Petri horn ring on my oval and on the backside of the ring it is recessed but I found another ring on ebay and the back was not recessed. Did petri make both styles or has someone made reproductions in the past. I have a couple pictures for comparison.

| From what I have gathered the top one is for VW and the bottom is for a different make of vehicle. I would PM Rare Air he schooled me when I had questions regarding one of the horn rings I have. Nice horn rings either way though ! |
