I came across a pair of 4 inch 4 lug rims.
What VW came w/ 4 inch wide/4X130?

LOL, yeah, I figured that. But what years? I was under the impression that by the time of 4 lug, rims were 4.5 inches.

Thanks guys! I didn't know that.

So a stock 165 works on such a skinny rim?

I picked up some rims at a garage cleaning. 1, 5.5" rim, 2, 4.5" rims, & 1, 4" rim.

Yes, many wide 5 VW owners have mounted 165R15 tires on 4 inch wheels.
