The first one say heater defrost how does it work?
The second is a small black lever is on the transmission tunnel next to the heater control
Please help a newbie out |

In the top picture, when the lever is up, you get heat out of the floor vents next to your feet, when its in the defrost position, it blocks the floor vent and forces it up to the windshield.
As for the bottom picture, Im not sure, Im guessing its a late model thing. _________________ '65 1500 S [quareback]

Yup, it's a late thing (72 & 73). It pulls the pin to allow the seat to be removed/adjusted fore/aft. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

So the heater/ defrost what does the switch or lever look like, where could i get one and a diagram.

Hmmm... doesn't look like the same thing to me- I remember those adjusters being a flattened plastic piece, not a roundie- like this:

You are missing the metal slider piece that clamps onto the wire, and the knob that goes on the slider.
If you pull/push on the wire you should be able to hear it opening and closing the vent on the floor/heater channel. _________________ '65 1500 S [quareback]
