I cannot seem to find the offset of the stock 4 inch wheels used for many years on Bugs. I have one with a tire mounted, which makes measuring the offset a bit less than accurate, and came up with ET32. It is stamped VW, but I cannot find any other stamping on it. I had to measure from tire sidewall to tire sidewall for overall width (6.5 inches with a P165R15 mounted) and then to the attachment face (4.5 inches with the tire mounted.) That makes the middle of the wheel 3.25 inches and 4.5 inches is 1.25 inches (32mm) greater. _________________

Nice thread, but I found no answers for the 15 inch wide 5 Beetle wheel. _________________

I found a link to an image from a German Lemmez page. I did my best to translate and it seems the stock Beetle 4 inch wheels with the wide 5 pattern are ET33. _________________
