Do I have this priced right? Fair for me and the buyer? Here's my Samba ad:http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1893169 _________________ "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." - Benjamin Franklin |

Three grand for a vert? Cant be too far off. If it doesnt sell in a few weeks just lower the price, it will sell...if it doesn't...lower price again.
I think you are in, or really close to the sweet spot. |
Agreed. Great project for someone with the skills and time to commit to it. _________________ 1966 Karmann-Ghia convertible |

I think your price is fair. My 71 vert was in similar condition when I bought it - yours may even be in a little bit better shape. The owner was asking $3K. We ended up agreeing on $2,300.
Good Luck. It should sell. _________________ Ghia Owner Emeritus |

Thanks guys. This is my first experience with Ghias. I'm a bus guy. I got a few calls within minutes of placing the ad, so I wanted to make sure I wasn't giving this thing away. Thanks again for the replies. _________________ "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." - Benjamin Franklin |

I don't know. I think if it doesn't sell, you RAISE the price. Then there will be a mad rush to buy it before you raise it again.Plus it has the added bonus of making mine worth more. |
