Finally some updates.

Due to some issues with the previous "plasterer" we decided to grind down and restart all over. Upon waiting in between bodywork steps we have once again installed the gearbox and engine and connected the gearbox to the gear-lever before paint-works started (I hate to grind and weld when paint is done)

This week finally the first paint has been sprayed, to be continued.

I really love the Chocolate Brown with Candle Wax Red colorscheme from the T1 bus. In order to make it a little different we will paint the underside and bottom half Brown and the tophalf and inside Red. Wink

Since the of 14" rims don't fit the T2B 5x112 brakes we had to design adapters to fit a set of 5x205 Porsche 356 rims.

First windows are in, quite some work to get the seals and trim installed but am happy with the result. Although I already ordered the deluxe trim, I won't ise it, it looks nice and clean like this.

Finally the engine is in for the final assembly.
Had some issues with the starter not reaching the flywheel but this is resolved now with a new starter.

Motorcover has been modified somewhat to give some room for the vintagespeed exhaust. Once the bumper is in place it will look less massive then what it looks now....

It is not me who invented this combination of sealing wax red and chestnut brown I only switched over and under colors... Inside and on pictures it looks like black and red, but outside in natural light it looks completely different.
