Finally some updates.
Due to some issues with the previous "plasterer" we decided to grind down and restart all over. Upon waiting in between bodywork steps we have once again installed the gearbox and engine and connected the gearbox to the gear-lever before paint-works started (I hate to grind and weld when paint is done)
engine in place

This week finally the first paint has been sprayed, to be continued. _________________ 54 iceland green oval, done!

I really love the Chocolate Brown with Candle Wax Red colorscheme from the T1 bus. In order to make it a little different we will paint the underside and bottom half Brown and the tophalf and inside Red.
primer
candlewaxred upperpart
chocolate brown parts (upper part will be painted candlewared later

Since the of 14" rims don't fit the T2B 5x112 brakes we had to design adapters to fit a set of 5x205 Porsche 356 rims.
Zincplatec to avoid rust.
The freshly painted red9 frontaxle install
Installing the bling
Start installing the headliner
Møre to come after our Christmas break _________________ 54 iceland green oval, done!

First windows are in, quite some work to get the seals and trim installed but am happy with the result. Although I already ordered the deluxe trim, I won't ise it, it looks nice and clean like this.
Finally the engine is in for the final assembly.
Had some issues with the starter not reaching the flywheel but this is resolved now with a new starter.
Motorcover has been modified somewhat to give some room for the vintagespeed exhaust. Once the bumper is in place it will look less massive then what it looks now....

Yeah on it's wheels again, I am happy!
Final adjustments regarding hight will be done when all is installed.
Also the headliner is about to be finalized, am happy with the result of the ragtop above the front seats!

It is not me who invented this combination of sealing wax red and chestnut brown I only switched over and under colors... Inside and on pictures it looks like black and red, but outside in natural light it looks completely different. _________________ 54 iceland green oval, done!
