They can be machined to be used on Split-screen Buses, not just Barndoors.

i bought in the summer of 1997 an old speedometer with extra kilometer ( for my '67 convertible ) .

i think this is very rare, because this was a "m-equipment".

Hello KTphil,

the CB Radio was buildt 1977.
The factory name is: STABO STRATOFON M12, made in germany.

12 channel AM with 0.5 watts

It works and looks good as new, with the original owner manual.

Sorry, but not rare and not really a VW accessory either...

On the bright side though, if you ever misplace it and need another, they're only $9 new on eBay or <$3/each in bulk direct from China. Wink

Not sure if this was an accessory or an option:

My '71 1302LS (RHD) convertible was a factory delivery car special ordered for use in India. Some options chosen were m240 (for low octane/quality fuel), m232 (lockable tonneau cover). It also came with this strut brace. I'm trying to find out if this was an option or an accessory. Hoping someone from Germany may have seen this option. Or perhaps in other export markets with bad roads?
