Im a newbie here with VWs
I just picked up a 73 Superbeetle convertible
I just pulled the engine, building a 1835 kit
The Beetle was not taken care of.
My aim is a #2 restoration

Current status:
Engine is rebuilt, 1866 CC
Body removed from frame
Body: Stripped (sanded) prepped/primed and now painted

Frame: Much rust found in floor pan
Purchased 2 new pans from JBugs
Sandblasted entire frame (Chassis)
I used Zinc Chromate for primer on the Chassis
Painted Chassis this past Saturday 15 October 2016
