My 50 Hoffman split has M code 001 - Chrome-plated bumpers, hub caps, outlet pipes, front indicator lights, tank cap and door handles; in addition with trim strips and passenger sun visor.

Does anyone know if this meant that the interior handles were the same as a deluxe, chrome with white knobs? Or were they chrome with black or brown knobs? Maybe Belgian splits were the same and could be used as a reference?

From the M-code, I'm assuming chrome bumpers, headlight rings and outer door handles, but the interior handles are still a mystery.

Thanks!

Chromed handles with black knobs for M001.

Here, shown on a Hoffman standard Zwitter:

Does anyone knows what the M001 means by "in addition with trim strips"?
Any help will be appreciated.

Add deluxe body trim? I'm pretty sure the Canadian Custom models got that, but that's post split era.

The reason I asked is because I have a '50 Hoffman standard split that has the M001 code in the birth certificate.

Does the "Trim strip" means body molding??
Does anyone know anything about this??

Thanks!
