1944 Kubelwagen in Massachusetts, USA

This 1944 Kubelwagen was recently at my shop for routine service. More pictures are in my gallery.

It showed up in the snow.

Sharing shop space with a long-lost cousin, a '74 Thing.

25hp engine.

Cool stencils.

Small km speedometer dash.

Fuel tank, right above passenger's knees.

Easy-access removable panel to adjust clutch, check gear oil and service starter.

Last oil change used some improvised gaskets and lots of silicone.

With my '61 bus and a '78 westy.
