I think that my bus was bought from Ron Price Volkswagen in South San Francisco, back in June '79, but I'm not sure whether I should be looking for a Ron Price Volkswagen or a Ron Price Volkswagen Mazda Subaru plate frame?
Any ideas where I'd find that information?

I reposted my wanted ad on Louisville Craigslist after posting this. I've had it running on and off for probably 4 years. Within a day, I got a reply from a guy saying he knew of one on a junk squareback and he only took notice of it because he remembered seeing my ad at one point. He's going to see what he can do to get it for me.  |
And now I haven't heard from him in 6 months and am getting no replies to e-mails I send...

Sorry but he won't part with it. Here's a blurry pic I was sent. On the bright side at least now you know they exist.
This is the 4th one I've found in the last 10 years. Sooner or later I'll find one for sale.
