Go see Dave at Happy Motors in PA, that guy has tons of those plate frames. Though sometimes it is hard to get him to part with any of his wares. Bring tools and PB Blaster, and cash. |

Any of the bolded ones would be awesome. Preference would be any of the UT dealers (car was found in rural southern Utah and was probably purchased in UT), next would be any of the Douglas, AZ dealers (my name and the car has been in AZ since '99), then the AK dealership would be cool (car was driven to high school there by my brother for several years after it was redone). Otherwise, anything on the list is at least mostly appropriate and plausible...
Thanks, Doug
P.S. There may be others with "Douglas" as part of the location or dealership name (like the BC and NJ ones), that would be cool too...

It depends if it has a Porsche logo on it. _________________ It's not about the window, it's about the people.

I grabbed a couple of frames this week, I don't think the Max Fergus listing has a frame picture so feel free to add it.
I picked these other two up a few months back.

Are you looking for photos? I have several here in both styles. The early version with Porsche & VW logos & reads "El Cajon Truman Motors", as well as just VW logos only that read "In the Valley of El Cajon Truman"
If you're looking to buy, I can help you.
On a side note, before changing their name to TRUMAN in the early 60s, the dealership was D&K Porsche.
