thats a relief Very Happy
i got nervous. it did look like it in the first pics.
i want 8.5 or 9.0 compression, and it looks like getting the heads fly cut to achieve that. i'm taking my time in figuring this one out. i invested in the heads for my utmost power (and budget) and not doing the compression in my build was "my bad"
this will be my 3rd time in and i heard "third time is the charm"
thanks for all the help and advice, everybody! Cool

sent the heads to get fly cut(reduce cc's from 55cc to 45cc) should raise my compression to 9.1
should feel a big boost in power. i've never had the right compression in three years since my modifications to this mtr.
i got a good opportunity to put in 1.25 rockers that will put me at 482.0 range (presently @424 lift) not sure if more lift would help me in the low- i think in the high rpm. range it will?
but not looking to go more than 5000 rpm's(stock crank and rods un balanced) rotating assembly.
thats the plan, but a lot to consider, i only want to do the rocker arm geometry done right to get push rods right.
the stuff i've been tossing around in bed at night thinking about. Yellow 181

Looking at those....pictures...are really. ...making .... me....twitchy....hahaha

Those intake valves are just begging to be unshrouded lol

You will definitely be happy with the compression bump. Keep deck between .040 and .050...

I would put it back together and run it, see how it is changed, then if you feel like you want more put the 1.25 rockers on. I was taught, make a change and test one thing at a time, make notes for all. very nice good luck

"BIG DIFFERENCE"
I"m so impressed with the whole new power, it is a big improvement over than the way it ran.
i could see how sluggish the mtr. was before (w/lo comp).
great change, total blast going to cheveron to fill-up w/fresh super premium!
I'd like to thank everyone for their imput.
Special shout out to John@aircooled for the machine work & Push rods.
