Looking good! I am in Hinton Alberta on my way to Alaska in my buggy. 3150 miles into the trip and loving it.

We will be back home before the start of Big Bear. I will miss going to Big Bear this year having crossed the US twice in the last two years for the event, and loved it.

Looks like fun Joe,

I've been following Frances' posts on the club website.

I had hoped to meet some of you at Big Bear but maybe another time......

My top is finished.....

It sure makes it a challenge for an old goat like me to get in the buggy..... Rolling Eyes

I think it turned out pretty nice and it didn't break the bank.

Nice work on the bikini top. Have a great trip to Big Bear. If your route coming or going takes you anywhere here Santa Cruz, CA let me know.

Thanks Andy.

Not sure we will be going that deep into the Concrete Jungle when heading home.
We hope to avoid traffic jams and such so might go back the way we came.

Did a lot of driving in windy conditions today and it pretty well wore us out.

We left Ellensburg, Wa. this morning about 7:30am and did a roundabout trip to Bend and then Burns, Oregon.

Safe travels!

It feels funny not attending Big Bear this year. But I made it home from Alaska Saturday night. 3 more rock chips in the windshield from the Alaska Highway, a couple paint chips and survived a broken valve spring in the Yukon. 7600 + miles.

It is a fantastic adventure to long haul in your buggy. Have fun and tell my CA friends I miss them.

Those big birds fly every day, much easier on your iron butt!
I'm sure one of the SoCal crew would even pick you up at LAX, drop you back after the weekend.... Razz

That sounds good, but I have a Manxter to build. Sometimes Obligations get in the way, but that is why these trips are soooo fun when you get to do them.

450 miles today through the middle of nowhere.

Took 78 east out of Burns, Or. to 95 south, then I-80 west to I-580 in Reno.

Headed south to Carson City for the night.

Ran into this 15 miles out of Burns on 78.

We are off to Bodie, Ca. today. It's an easy 2 hour drive and gives us lots of time to walk through the ghost town.
