Think you meant to write:
"The person who bought it around 1987-90 from Renee Fields."
Otherwise it sounds like Renee Fields bought it, rather than sold it.
Does the lady in Surey have any paperwork? Chassi number would really help. Would be great to hear that the SC is found.
Wish that my Dad's 63 non-sunroof bus was in our possession. Last saw it going into a very small wrecking yard in the late 1970s, and so it almost certainly ended up crushed. _________________ In Stereo, Where Available!

Anyway to get the state to look up the old records for autos owned by Mr & Mrs. Fields? _________________ In Stereo, Where Available! |

Sorry I'm kind of colour blind but is it a sort of pink S/C with dual treasure chest doors? If it is, I know there is one here owned by a fellow I used to work with.

My colour recognition is really poor especially in bad light or poor pictures.
The one I know of is totally redone and probably wouldn't be cheap. I know he spent over $2500 having the bumpers straightened polished and chromed and had a HUGE bill at the body shop to get the body redone. I don't know if he painted it the stock colour. I never saw it finished. If you can PM me a chassis number I can check if it the one she is looking for.

Pretty sure this is the one my buddy owns here in Saskatoon. I talked to him and the story seems to line up. Came out of ND about that time and originally SWR with dual lockers. The body is redone (not OG paint scheme unfortunately) but needs assembly and mechanical done. _________________ 53 Canadian standard oval

Have you considered simply starting with a nicer bus? I don't know what your skills are, but the race is easier if you can see the finish line. If you are not a runner, don't start off doing a marathon. |

If this is the same truck it was imported by Robert Achs a Samba member to this day. He brought it to Sk. Its in Paint and pieces right now but it could be bought! It just takes money! I'm sure you found it it's in a garage in Saskatoon in a mechanics garage .His name is Jason Ahmed. He works at a shop called Prairie Autohaus.
