Hey all, finally getting around to posting this. I've been a long time voyeur on this site and have received so much good information that I am compelled to post my project to hopefully help/inspire some others.

Disclaimer: I am terribly internet illiterate and can't type to save my life, so I will be trying to keep things short.

Thanks to all the great community that take the time to bring all the resources to guys like me. I hope to get my bus on the road soon so my family and I can get out and meet you all !

I am attempting to document my journey here so it may take some time, sorry. I began this project about 5 years ago so I'm reaching through the hollows of an old worn out brain. I'll be trying to bring this thread current with some photos of the work i've been doing over the last 3 or 4 months.

The deck lid was one of the biggest areas of rot. I decided to add an engine access hatch since I had to cut out most of the metal there.
