Does it have ribbed doors? If not, what do the door jambs look like on the B pillar? Does it have a kick panel under the rear seat? What's the battery tray area pressing look like? What's the gas tank look like? Sunroof looks like it has round corners so that would indicate a '56 if it is the original sunroof. There are other various ways to tell if it is a '55 or a '56. _________________ Formerly known in the forums as "OVALTEEN"

Providing the rag wasn't grafted in earlier in its life... From what I can see, the front header for sunroof has round corners so... It is a 1956 (or possiblt 1957)... If, the rear corners are square it will be an early '56 if all four are round it will be late '56 (or 1957). (1956 was the sunroof transition year and had 3 distinct roofs in one year)
If it were a 1955 it would have 4 square corners on the rag as well as 3 folds & ribbed doors... _________________ ::: Slowoval ::: LaDawri Sebring ::: '61 Creampuff ::: Dust Storm '66 ::: |

all 4 corners are round on the rag top, it has not been grafted in, so late 56 early 57 |
