Starting to look at an electrical powerplant now. It might be this concept. My internet connection is kinda slow right now to view this "Minivan" concept.

http://qegfreeenergyacademy.com/

This power source is all open public sourced and I think it is not putting out a lot of power yet, feeling that within the year it may double or triple the output.
Time will tell.

Where did you get that number??? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes No price announced.

Arrow but lease or buy used - you will have to wait of course

the minibus is set to go on the Model X chassis - if you've seen it, it resemble GM's skateboard concept

it really needs a BMW motorcycle engine to recharge it - or a nice small fuel cell, solar panels would take too long most likely

Well, it's not Vanagon content.
It's more universal than one area.

A bit pedantic of me but:
A "new" Bus would be a Eurovan replacement, not Vanagon.
Vanagons have already been replaced... by Eurovans.

At least a shadow was left behind so you could follow it's move.
That's WAY better than it just vanishing.

Looks ugly to me. I see no styling reference towards a VW Bus. Why does everybody fantasize about the return of a 50 year old vehicle? I just don't get it.

I figured he assumed it would be $$$$ since the other Tesla current products are expensive vehicles... at least until the Model 3.

I can understand the comparison against the VW minivans since VW has sort of flopped on that in the USA but not sure it makes any more sense to compare it against VW than all other minivans.

I guess they needed an angle for the story.

Gotta love how someone took an image of "the new VW Bus" that's been floating on teh InterWeb Thingy for 15+ years and photoshopped the nose of a Model S to it.

Clickbait.

Not to mention how people would believe a company that is producing this:

would produce the turd from the article. Rolling Eyes

For crying out loud. I mean, I get it, but come on. Also looks kind of ridiculous to me.

I use my VW van for camping, long road trips, how is an electric van going to work out, will it go 700 miles on a charge? will I be able to recharge it at my remote camp ground? bad idea.

Sorry...some of us just ain't...will never be.. the minivan type..

E van.. = Niche market.. doubt the high society look at my "EV" type would ever buy a turd that looked like that... even if it were legit..

The shrub huggers may.. if its within a cheap ass Vw owner price point..

Besides... moving a brick through the air.. will consume extra amps..

We are not quite there yet on battery powered vehicles.. but the technology seems to be changing rapidly.. .

Buys electric vehicle to save the earth and not use fossil fuels. Has to tow fossil fuel engine around to make electric vehicle useful. Makes sense.

Well, soccer mom could use it all year long, thinking she's saving the Earth when she isn't, then hook up the trailer for that one or two road trips each year. Then she wouldn't need two cars.
