Has anyone bought and installed a set of these? I was originally going to buy the CE ones, but these are closer to get and the price is also better.
The one thing I did notice is that they don't come with the hinge mounting hardware so not sure where you would source that.

These are Wolfgang safaris. A friend of mine grabbed a set from KCW a few years back when they had a few sets in stock. I was supposed to install them so they were in hand at my shop. Now this was a few years ago and things may have changed, like they were frames only back then, no hinges or hardware.
After seeing them I thought they were kinda garbage. The seams didn't line up well, corners were a bit off and the rubber channels were big , especially at the bends so you would be lucky to keep the rubber in place.
The hinges they have now look way wrong, plus no holes for the hardware.
Personally I would suggest CE. However, I have never seen their BD ones in person but they are much more correct looking , hinges are basically correct, have the hardware. If I had to choose, I'd go CE.

Thanks for the feedback Mark.
I've been accused of being too picky so I should probably opt for the CE ones.

Jeremy Palomar - http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=17787

Had a set of the Wolfgang ones listed on here a couple months back. Painted, rubber, glass, hinges, ready to go.

He would be a good guy to ask about the quality.

I was planning on buying the Wolfgang frames and the CE hinges / hardware to make a "more correct" looking set.
I'm not a fan of the screw on CE hinges. Maybe they've changed that though...
