Not sure where to post this but need help identifying this steering wheel I picked up this weekend. What it would go to, year, etc. I seen the VW and Petri stamp so I had to pick it up. There was no horn button.
Any help and info would be greatly appreciated.

That particular wheel will fit Pre '59 Type 1 cars
Taking a guess, but that wheel was manufactured between Aug 1955 - May 1956. The shape of the outer rim is Aug 1955 and later. But the center hub is still splined with 24 teeth which was later changed to 48 teeth sometime during the 1956 model run.
Value? I'll leave that up to the seller and buyer
