I want to widen my front beam. Can I still use the torsion leaves or do I have to go for through rods to hold the arms in place? I have heard that you can cut the leaves and use 4 adjusters but I can’t see how this will hold the arms securely in place

I show how I widened mine 4" by just adding the adjusters.

Thanks TDCTDI
That does seem to be the accepted way to go. I was just concerned how secure the arms are, as the adjusters have to have some play to work there appears nothing to stop them pulling sideways

There are grub screws that hold the springs in place.

Yes its I know its grub screwed. Normally its held by the centre and the other side none of which can't move. With the adjusters I’ve seen there is nothing to stop the centre of them sliding up the tube or am I missing something.?

There is the little grub screw that holds the spring pack in the clamp which is rotated down 90* on a balljoint beam), then the clamp is held in place by the stud that goes through the slot in the adjuster, which is then secured by the aluminum block & nut.
