Marking my spot for some upcoming changes... I never left the Vanagon world, just took a break and tried something different, and it #blewupinmyface ... and now it's time to pay attention to my ride, it has been neglected along enough.

Blast from the past in the Oregon Outback... and as it sits currently... the next few weeks I will be cracking some eggs Very Happy

I was sorry to read about your troubles with your other ride. No one deserves that kind of crap. Evil or Very Mad

On the bright side at least you have another van to fall back on. Very Happy

Sorry to hear about it. Happy to be hearing more about the Vanagon.

Did the misfortune occur before you added a pop-top?

This is the top you want. I have the ways and means to mount this.
We can do it during a Shout Out.

LOL... great minds think alike... already visited this option, I actually have 3 now. Reimo top is in play too (local distributor)

And here is what it costs...

1985 VW Vanagon

24" Bubble top w/ No flange..........................$ 1850.00 ( top only )

Trim Kit.............................$ 185.00 (white or black )
**Because your top has no Flange you will need a trim kit to help bolt and screw on your top.

Note: All of our tops come in a white gel coat finish, it is not automotive paint. We recommend that you take your top to a automotive paint shop to get the top to match the color of your van.

Options for tops

Inside white liner............................$ 650.00

OSB Plywood Reinforcement...........................$ 295.00
( For external AC/solar panels or roof rack support )

3 Strips of wood........................$ 95.00
( For a headliner )

Packaging and Crating...................$ 350.00
( Does not include shipping, a freight broker will contact and bill you directly )

Basic Installation..........................$ 850.00
( No upholstery work )

Are you planning on making the top a bunk or just standing room in your van?

Are you going to extend the "Lounge" look? Cool
