Seatbelts

I have a '65 beetle,it has retractable seatbelts but one of them no longer retract,want to get new ones but i dont think 65 came with retractable 3 point seatbelt,i think that because the retractable part hits the side of my seat,question is,what kind of seatbelt did my 65 originally come with 3 point retractable or just 3 point non retractable..thanks

your 65 would have came with no seat belt standard, non retractable lap belts as option.

who knows what aftermarket belts you have in there now...

Oh ok,but it does have the threated wholes on the lower part of door frame and middle upper inside between rear side window and door,thats the weird part.you have any recommendation on wich seatbelt to put on?

There are many threads on this, including options for the outer floor mount. Sounds like you have that mounting point already drilled out, so I'd check using search and find the closest to your hole setup. Note the need for a thick reinforcement washer on either side. Find a good retractable 3-point inertial set.

Go to eBay and search for "HUMVEE seat belts". Save you wallet some trauma.
